My Story:

Sara Jones joins Beacon Academy as a K-2 Elementary Teacher. A Vermont native, Sara ventured far from home to attend Lynchburg College where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has 2 years of experience teaching Kindergarten and 7 years of experience teaching 2nd grade. She has been passionate about becoming a teacher since she was in 2nd grade herself. Her journey from a second-grade dreamer to a dedicated educator reflects her commitment to shaping young minds and making a difference in their lives. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, in her garden, in the woods, or on water.
