​My Story: 

Janae Bennett-Taylor joins Beacon Academy as     a paraprofessional in the lower elementary class. She was born and raised in Madison Heights, Va. Janae attended Virginia Episcopal School and furthered her education at Norfolk State University. At Norfolk, Janae earned her B.S. of Biology with a concentration in Marine Biology. During her undergraduate studies, Janae enhanced her passion for nurturing and educating young children at Chosen Children Childcare, an early learning center in Portsmouth, Va. She has since continued to pursue this passion! 
Janae is a wife and step-mother of 1. She enjoys spending time with her friends & family, cooking, writing poetry, and any water related activities!
