My Story:
|
Emily Baldonado joins Beacon Academy as a credentialed school counselor. She recently moved from Paso Robles, CA, but is a Maryland native and is thrilled to be back on the east coast. Emily graduated from Washington Adventist University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education. She also received her Master of Arts in Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services credential from UMass Global (previously Brandman University). Before joining Beacon, she supported students across a wide range of ages and abilities, including those in early childhood, special education, alternative education, elementary, high school, and higher education. Emily believes that every student has the potential to succeed, they just need someone to help them recognize their strengths, abilities, and sense of identity.
In Emily’s free time, she enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, and traveling. On the weekends, you may find her at your local thrift or book store with an almond milk matcha in hand! “To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” ― Anatole France |
